Torwoodlea Lodge is set on a working sugar-cane farm near New Hanover in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The venue combines camping with a country-event and weekend-getaway setting centred around the dam, decks and open rural surroundings.
The venue’s current camping information lists 25 camping and caravan sites with electricity points, water and an ablution block. Other facilities promoted for weekend use include braai areas, a children’s playground, fishing, birdwatching and game viewing.
